Mr. Duan Kai graduated from Guizhou University with a bachelor's degree in law. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked in legal roles at several international enterprises and organisations, including Hutchison Whampoa and Tourism Malaysia, and joined Guangdong Zhiyang Law Firm in 2011. He specialises in corporate internal control and investment and financing work such as the design and improvement of corporate governance structures, the establishment and review of internal legal risk assessment and control mechanisms, and corporate debt and private financing advisory services. He holds an enterprise internal audit and internal control qualification certified by CCS (China Classification Society). Since beginning practice he has served as legal counsel for several contiguous plot development projects, NEEQ and main board listing projects of enterprises, trust fund establishment and fundraising projects, and government industrial investment projects, providing structural design and legal risk control services.
