Eve Fang has worked in Shanghai Maritime Court for 7 years before she became a lawyer. As a judge, Eve has handled plenty of commercial disputes, including a number of complex foreign-related cases with large amount in dispute. As an outstanding young judge, she has received various commendations and published dozens of academic papers and typical cases, which have a certain impact on legal practice. She joined the law firm in 2015 and went to relevant insurance institutions and law firms in Japan on secondment in the first half of 2016.
She is currently a PhD student in private financial law at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and she has in-depth research on the frontier issues in the financial and commercial fields. During her Ph.D. study, she has already published several translations on company law and trust law. At the same time, she also pays attention to the leading edge of?the Fintech development, and has researched on blockchain technology and big data governance. Therefore, she is now one of the specially-invited researchers of the Digital Law Institute of East China University of Political Science and Law.
